Join us for an inspiring retreat in the woods with a small friendly group of creatives and entrepreneurs to switch off and reconnect, under the expert guidance of creativity teacher Laurence Shorter (author of The Lazy Guru’s Guide to Life).

Disconnect to Reconnect

Date: Weekend of Friday 13th October 2017

* Hosted by Tim at the The Farm Camp, near Bath. An off grid glamping site on his family farm

* Inspiring campfire chats led by author, coach and comedian 'The Lazy Guru', Laurence Shorter (see bios below)

* Morning woodland-walk, breathing and yoga session with Michael Townsend-Williams (Breathe Sync, StillWorks)

* Adventures into the valley - walks, wild swims, and various games (all optional)

What’s a digital detox?

We live in an increasingly hyper-connected, digital world and we need to learn how to control it, so it can’t control us. Campwell aims to help provide every guest with the tools and ideas to bring a more balanced lifestyle to their own world. So, we will ask our guests to leave behind any technology, timepieces and other distractions to allow us to connect with a simpler life over the weekend (emergency contact number available). Committed to flow, we will follow an unforced approach, with optional adventures, discussions and games, free-time, nap-times and plenty of campfire gatherings (with good food and drink).

If you would like to join us to reconnect with nature and find inspiration for your own life, join us for a weekend to remember.

Cost: £250pp (includes accommodation, facilitation and teaching from the Lazy Guru, 5 meals, mini adventures)

Book now: 16 places only, in 5 tents. Contacting us on stay@thefarmcamp.co.uk or call +44(0)1225 582246

“Thank you so much for a brilliant, lively and and incredibly inspiring weekend.” Caroline Brimmer, School of Life

“Laurence has helped me to find the person I want to be… the skill he has is drawing out the underlying questions, issues and resistance”   Ali Grade, Mission Accomplished

Tim is an creative entrepreneur, outdoor enthusiast and 5th generation on the family farm. After growing up in the West Country, Tim decided to follow the crowds and went to Uni, worked in London’s advertising scene and then in Hong Kong as a wine merchant. He eventually realised that an office-based city life was not for him, and moved home to set up a glamping business on the farm. He was inspired by the joy of the simple life at his camp and now encourages his guest’s to enjoy the same. Knowing the area well, he loves venturing out into the nearby valleys for adventures with friends, his wife Jojo and their dog, Waddy.
